I recently dined at this restaurant for dinner, and I'm excited to share my experience, particularly from the unique perspective of being a vegetarian at a Korean BBQ establishment. While the location wasn't my personal choice, as I was part of a large group, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of vegetarian options available.

From noodles to dumplings, the menu offered a delightful selection of meat-free dishes that satisfied my palate. Despite the restaurant's focus on BBQ, I found plenty of flavorful and satisfying options to enjoy. Additionally, I was impressed by the attentive service provided throughout our meal.

It's worth mentioning that the restaurant is situated on the 2nd floor, which might not be immediately obvious from the exterior. However, they have staff stationed in the lobby to guide patrons to the restaurant, ensuring a smooth arrival experience.

Overall, my vegetarian experience at this Korean BBQ restaurant was exceptionally positive, and it was heartening to see everyone in our diverse group, with varying dietary preferences, thoroughly enjoying their meals.

We were on the hunt for a spot near the Empire State Building for a group dinner, with a mix of tastes among us. Based on local recommendations, we settled on this gem and it did not disappoint. Tucked away in K-Town, they swiftly seated us, catered to our needs throughout the meal, and provided prompt service, even on a bustling Wednesday evening around 6:30. It delivered exactly what we were looking for in traditional Korean BBQ.

Nestled in Koreatown, this cozy Korean BBQ joint mirrors the ambiance of a traditional Korean home. The prices are reasonable considering the generous portions and the delightful array of banchan. The atmosphere is charming, with Korean classics serenading from the speakers and vintage war-era posters adorning the walls. For the ultimate experience, I highly recommend complementing your meal with a bottle of soju. Highly recommended!

Jongro, a beloved spot in K-town, offers top-notch meats, a plethora of sides, and amiable servers who expertly handle the grilling for you. With ample portions at reasonable prices, you'll depart feeling fully satisfied and content. Opting for the set menus streamlines the decision-making process, allowing you to focus on indulging rather than deliberating. Don't be deceived by the size in photos—the mixed pork, shrimp, and octopus special is more substantial in person, which is definitely a plus! While reservations are available, Jongro also welcomes walk-ins with open arms.

I had a fantastic experience at this place! The food was delicious, the prices were fair, and the service was excellent. The side dishes were particularly tasty. We opted for the marinated meat, and it was just the right amount for two people. The flavors were perfect! While I generally prefer Korean BBQ spots where we grill the meat ourselves (here, the waiters handle it), I would definitely return for another meal!

On a bustling Friday night, we patiently waited for about 30 minutes to be seated, but once we were, the service was remarkably swift and efficient. Opting for the meat platter, we savored a delightful assortment of beef cuts, with the hangar steak emerging as a personal favorite. It was a fantastic deal, accompanied by fresh side dishes, tantalizing corn cheese, and a delectable egg casserole. The quality of everything was outstanding, especially considering the reasonable pricing. Additionally, it was a perfect dining option for our gluten-free companions, as the staff were incredibly accommodating. Overall, a wonderful experience!

We indulged in the beef platter, designed for 2-3 people, which proved to be just the right amount. Next time, we're opting for the marinated beef, as we found ourselves wishing for a bit more flavor despite the tasty sauces provided. Accompanied by a choice of bean stew or spicy soup, the platter offered a satisfying variety. To complement our meal, we also tried the pork belly a la carte, which didn't disappoint. Overall, this spot impressed with its solid Korean BBQ offerings, attentive service, and remarkably short wait time (just 5 minutes for two on a Sunday at 1 pm). Note: You'll find this gem on the second floor.

The service was exceptional, akin to being gently swaddled like a newborn by our server. She anticipated our every need with remarkable attentiveness. We arrived at 5:45 and were promptly seated, pleasantly surprised by the lack of crowds, likely owing to it being a weekday. Without a doubt, I highly recommend this spot—it's a top choice for BBQ aficionados!

If you're on the hunt for a Korean BBQ spot in NYC, this place gets my wholehearted recommendation! Despite a wait of about 45 minutes to an hour, you can put your name down and return when your table is ready—a convenient option. Once seated, the service was impressively fast, with the meat arriving promptly. They also provide an array of delightful side dishes. Personally, I thoroughly enjoyed their mul naengmyun—it complemented the meat perfectly! For a group of five, we found that a beef platter alongside samgyupsal and intestines was just the right amount of food. Plus, the vibes here are absolutely immaculate, so I highly recommend checking it out!

I typically frequented the 2nd floor, but recently ventured to the 5th floor and was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional food. Not only is the menu different, but the flavors are distinctively better (I personally prefer it on the 5th). A standout feature is the addition of a bar, where I highly recommend trying the Sunday Seoul cocktail.

During our visit, we indulged in the beef platter with LA kalbi, soft tofu soup, fried chicken wings, seafood pancake, and spicy rice cake—our table was brimming with deliciousness! We were delighted to receive a complimentary serving of corn cheese with our ordered platter, which was a delightful addition alongside the steamed egg.

The service was top-notch, with our server ensuring our side dishes remained replenished throughout the meal. Overall, I highly recommend giving the 5th floor a try, as my friends and I had an outstanding experience there.
